About Sengkang MRT Station
The Sengkang MRT/LRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) interchange station in Singapore. It’s an interchanging point between two very popular lines – The North East Line which connects to Buangkok LRT as well, making it one of the most important transport hubs within this planning area. Along with its counterparts at Buangkok Station, they are both essential parts for any visitor or citizen who wants convenience when moving around their neighborhood.
The LRT station is a vital part of life in Singapore. It opened on 18 January 2003 along with the other East loop stations, and has helped make it easier for people to get around town without having any trouble finding where they need to go! The West Loop began service on 29th May 2005 – but there have been upgrades implemented at this particular location since then too; including new barrier-free access points that allow easy connection between different transport modes such as buses or taxis. It’s a short walk from Compass One, Compass Heights, and Sengkang Bus Interchange. It also connects you to all of these areas’ amenities such as shopping centers or schools – making it easy for people who live here.
